Baroness (Caroline) Cox was created a Life Peer in 1982 for her
contributions to education and has served as a Deputy Speaker of the
House of Lords from 1985 to 2005. Lady Cox now sits in the Lords as a
crossbencher and is a frequent contributor to Lords debates on Sudan,
India, Nigeria, Uganda, and Burma.
Lady Cox serves as a non-executive director of the Andrei Sakharov
Foundation and is the Chairman of the Executive Board of the
International Islamic Christian Organisation for Reconciliation and
Reconstruction (IICORR), a charity which she helped to set up to promote
stronger relationships between Muslims and Christians.
Bishop Michael Nazir-Ali was the 106th Bishop of Rochester, for 15 years, until 1 September 2009. He is originally from Asia and was the first non-white Diocesan Bishop in the Church of England. He was appointed in 1994. Before that he was the General Secretary of CMS from 1989-1994 and prior to holding this position was Bishop of Raiwind in Pakistan. He holds both British and Pakistani citizenship and from 1999 was a member of the House of Lords where he was active in a number of areas of national and international concern. He has both a Christian and a Muslim family background and is now President of the Oxford Centre for Training, Research, Advocacy and Development (OXTRAD).
Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo is the Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre; the church started out in 1992 with 11 members but has grown to over 12,000 members. Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo was born in Kaduna which is the Northern part of Nigeria on the 17th of March 1952; and born to Muslim parents. Pastor Matthew’s messages are televised and watched all around the world and also heard on most radio stations all around the world. Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo is a dynamic preacher, having preached for over 30 years he is a successful leader and the author of over 60 books.
Mrs.Esther Ibanga
is the senior pastor of Jos Christian Missions
International in Jos Nigeria. This ministry was founded on the 24th
December 1995, two years after she was given the vision by the Lord. The
thrust of the ministry has been to Recruit, Equip and Release missionaries to the nations
to be the light of the world.
Mrs. Esther Ibanga resides in Jos, Nigeria with her husband, Dr. Iko Ibang
Ade Omooba has been in full time ministry in the UK for over 21 years with a sincere heart for servant leadership. He is a co-founder of several organisations/groups, namely; the Christian Victory Group - ICARE Projects (CVG - I CARE) which has over 70 Social Action/Inclusion projects set up in the last 17 years; Christian Concern for our Nation (CCFON), a UK Lobby/Campaign Group on Public Policy, and the Christian Legal Centre (CLC) addressing Christian Liberty Cases. He also serves as a Trustee of the Global Day of Prayer, London, a part of the Global Prayer Movement.
